Back in 1988 Nike introduced the Air Flow. As with a lot of their sneakers they decided to re-introduce the Air Flow back to the public years later but this time with a Lunarlon sole. Repurposing is a recent trend with Nike. Why not? People love the old models and giving them a facelift makes them as innovative today as they were when they first dropped. If the shoe is to be repurposed, why not repurpose iconic Nike advertising to a demographic that is fixated on sneaker history, and why not do it in the window of the store (Livestock) that they buy their sneakers at already? Exactly, that is exactly what you should do. The window dressing is meant to be dynamic. Everyday the old ad gets build on top of. Consumers get to watch the progress and the culmination of the artwork coincides with the day the shoe releases.
